Places of historical interest include the next monumental archaeological ruins of Empurias (first greco-roman city in Spain), Figueres (Teatro-Museo Gala Salvador Dalí) Natural Park Cap de Creus (Cadaqués), Sant Pere de Rodes (Romanesque Benedictine monastery, founded in 945), and many more.
